TY-Y-MOR

The renovation of this 30's cottage on the coast in West Wales transformed the home from a ruin into a contemporary New England style residence. The house was extended in the front and back and the interior re-configured to make 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a large living room and barn-style kitchen-dining room.

It has been photographed for Coast magazine, the Mail on Sunday, Remodelista and used for a White Company photo shoot and appeared on Build your Dream Home on More 4.

LEWES CRESCENT, BRIGHTON

Overlooking one of Brighton's most prestigious gardens this first floor Georgian flat boasts 20' ceilings and has un-parallel view of the channel.

Styled with a utilitarian look, it gives the traditional interior a more loft like feel which fits with a contemporary aesthetic.

Design Stuff worked with PHG.Cowes to decorate this home in Hampshire. Vintage fabrics were used for the curtains and pieces sourced from fairs and auctions added to the unique selection of furniture

ABBEY ROAD

A regular Brighton client purchased this 30's studio flat in Abbey Road to have a Pied a Terre close to his work in London during the week. The flat was opposite the famous studios and deliveries were somewhat confused by the assumption we were The Abbey Road Studio! We completely gutted the studio and, although limited in space, we effectively made it efficient and contemporary, with a full kitchen, large walk-in power shower and fitted closets. Black painted wood floors and black and white Spanish concrete tiled floor in the bathroom created a unique design.

WOODLAND

This RIBA award winning home in the Isle of Wight is framed with a wonderful rusted metal exterior and has a wooden barn slotted onto the end of the property which gives the home an industrial feel. This is combined with the softness of the wood which allows it to blend into its environment. An architectural garden sets off the property to dramatic effect.

We were commissioned to create an interior design concept for the home. The colour scheme was chosen to echo the strength of the exterior space, introducing the shades of the rust structure and natural soft hues of the grasses and trees onto the walls and furnishings.

Bespoke cabinetry from local island cabinet maker Max Warner and additional bespoke furniture were commissioned from award winning designer Sebastien Cox. Uniquely designed rugs and iconic Italian furniture complement the interior.

CARIBBEAN

After 25 years living and working in the Caribbean I have found that much of the design translates back to coastal homes in Europe.

Whilst the properties were highly influenced by the technology of the States the interior design and style are exclusively selected from the best of European design.
